Spring dressing has arrived in style thanks to UNIQLO’s wardrobe that looks polished without requiring a 45-minute battle in front of the mirror.
UNIQLO : C unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 collection and it is available to shop from today.
The latest collection from British designer Clare Waight Keller, which has arrived with a very appealing proposition: clothes that look considered but feel like you can actually live in them.

Called “Refined for the Everyday”, the collection launches in Australia on August 27, bringing together relaxed silhouettes, tailored pieces and soft fabrics designed to move with you rather than make you feel like you are wearing a costume version of yourself.

The art of looking put together without trying too hard
For Spring/Summer 2026, Waight Keller has focused as much on how the clothes feel as how they look.
The result is an urban wardrobe built around fluid layering, easy proportions and pieces that can be mixed and matched without requiring an advanced degree in styling.
Layering is set to be a huge trend for Spring/Summer 26 and 27.
There is also a strong unisex sensibility running through the collection, with silhouettes designed to feel adaptable rather than overly prescriptive.

With tailoring softened by relaxed fabrics, polished separates that can be dressed up or down and modern essentials that are intended to work together rather than sit lonely at the back of your wardrobe waiting for their moment.
The colour palette is equally appealing.
Powder lilac and sky blue bring a soft hit of spring colour, while a vivid red knit provides the kind of contrast that can turn an otherwise understated outfit into a look.
It is colour blocking for people who want to have fun with fashion but still need to catch the train on time.

Meet the dress that deserves a spring outing
One of the standout pieces is a cotton volume-sleeve dress, $79.90, featuring softly structured, shirt-inspired sleeves and a clip belt detail.
It has the sort of versatility that makes a wardrobe staple genuinely useful. Wear it loose for a relaxed daytime look, add the belt for more definition or layer it with other pieces when the weather cannot quite decide what season it is.
Then there are the satin sets, Milano ribbed knits and premium linen which add texture and softness across the collection.
The idea is simple: build an outfit from pieces that feel good together, both visually and physically.

Sunglasses are making their UNIQLO : C debut
The accessories department is getting an exciting addition this season, with sunglasses joining the UNIQLO : C lineup for the first time.
The retro-inspired styles feature UV400 lenses, $49.90, that block 99 per cent of ultraviolet rays, combining the practical stuff with a fashion-forward finish.
And because no spring wardrobe is complete without shoes that can carry you through considerably more than one occasion, the collection also includes retro-inspired sneakers, $79.90, rope sandals, $59.90, and finely crafted deck shoes, $99.90, designed for both women and men.
There is also an ultra-light drawstring bag, $49.90, because the Spring 26’ dream is to look effortlessly chic while carrying approximately 17 things we absolutely did not need to bring with us.

The pieces that make a wardrobe work harder
What makes this collection easy to get excited about is the emphasis on pieces that can be worn in multiple ways.
A tailored item can meet a soft knit, a pastel shade can sit alongside a stronger colour, a satin set can feel dressed up one day and surprisingly casual the next.
That flexibility is at the heart of Waight Keller’s vision, with the designer describing the collection as an urban wardrobe designed to move naturally through everyday life.
There is also a subtle sense of play throughout, which stops the collection from feeling too serious. The clothes may be refined, but they are not precious.

The full UNIQLO : C Spring/Summer 2026 collection will be available from August 27, 2026, at stores carrying the full lineup and online at uniqlo.com.
Select pieces will also be available at UNIQLO stores across Australia.
If spring shopping usually sends you into a spiral of ‘I have nothing to wear’ despite a wardrobe that is technically full, this could be the collection that helps solve the problem.
Start with the tailoring, add a splash of lilac or sky blue, throw in the red knit for drama and finish with the sunglasses.
Suddenly, getting dressed for Spring looks considerably more fun without the added effort that blows the budget.
